Big news: Saint Levant is headlining the newly announced music programme at the inaugural edition of the Doha Film Festival. The Palestinian artist, who’s been making global waves with his multilingual, genre-blending sound, is set to take over the stage this November.
Saint Levant Takes the Spotlight
Born in Jerusalem, Saint Levant has become one of the most talked-about names in music today. His hit Kalamantina pushed him into international stardom, and he’s since carried that momentum to stages like Coachella. His mix of Arabic, English, and French lyrics — layered over rap, R&B, and Middle Eastern influences — makes his sound instantly recognizable.
Bringing him to Doha isn’t just about music; it’s about giving space to a voice that bridges cultures and speaks directly to a generation hungry for authenticity. Expect energy, honesty, and a performance that sets the tone for the whole festival.

What’s Happening at Doha Film Festival
Doha is about to host the very first edition of its Film Festival, running November 20–28, 2025. The debut event will take over venues across the city, from Katara Cultural Village and Msheireb Downtown Doha to the Museum of Islamic Art and beyond.
Alongside an ambitious film line-up of screenings and panels, the festival is also introducing a music programme from day one — a bold move that brings storytelling to life through sound as well as cinema.
The line-up breaks down into three parts:
- Roots: new talent and emerging sounds.
- Headliners: global and regional stars (cue Saint Levant).
- Scoring: live performances of film scores and composer showcases.

Palestinian Stories in Focus
DFF is amplifying Palestinian stories across every platform. The festival will open with the award-winning film The Voice of Hind Rajab, setting a powerful tone from the very start. On the music side, Saint Levant leads the charge, joined by screenings of films like With Hasan in Gaza, Once Upon a Time in Gaza, and Palestine 36.

Between a bold new music stage, Saint Levant’s headline performance, and a line-up designed to blend discovery with celebration, DFF is all about sound, culture, and the stories that connect us all.
