Due to construction work on Egypt’s Giza metro line, Mohandessin residents have been warned of a 24-hour water cut starting Wednesday. It is Friday morning and there is still no sign of water. Needless to say, Mohandessin and Imbaba residents are outraged. This is not a matter of people not being able to shower or cook, some of Egypt’s biggest hospitals are located in Giza, and without water, operating will be difficult. Social media users have been expressing their disappointment with the situation.
