Meet Sara Shakeel, The Pakistani Artist Behind Saudi Cup’s Crystal Desert
Crystal artist Sara Shakeel is once again dazzling us with her magical crystal desert that she showcased in Riyadh for the 2023 Saudi Cup. This is not her first attempt as she previously created the crystal desert back in 2021 for Hia Magazine. Shakeel was over the moon with peoples reaction to according to her billions of crystals placed to make crystal desert.
She described in an instagram post how it felt “satisfying on so many levels” for people to enjoy the immersive experience.
Shakeel was a Pakistani dentist now turned artist, who is all about using dynamic material and creating out of this world pieces. The award-winning crystal artist had also worked just recently with Rihanna on her outfit worn during the 2023 Super Bowl performance where Rihanna literally was shining like a diamond.
