Compelling Artists Across The Region Will Showcase Their Artistic Masterpieces At Alserkal Art Week

As part of the leading international art fair “Art Dubai”, we are once again going to see one of the most adored art events making a much needed comeback, the Alserkal Art Week. The acclaimed one-week art festival that will run from Feb 26 to March 5 is going to be the staging ground for stunning art exhibitions and galleries such as Ayyam Gallery, The Third Line, Leila Heller Gallery and more.

Yearly favorite cultural programs and talks are also making a comeback like Alserkal Lates, Slow Art Walkshost as well as Majlis Talks where artists, curators, researchers and art enthusiasts will all come together for an artistic dose of insightful conversations. Among such artistic minds will be Art D’Egypte’s founder Nadine Abdel Ghaffar who will give a talk on Feb 28 along with Alserkal’s Cultural Development Director Fiza Akram on how art initiatives can channel social change as well as act as a reset button for the contemporary art sector and heritage landscape.

Along with Abdel Ghaffar, many other speakers are set to participate in the conversation including artist Fatima Ali, art curators Lubnah Ansari, Loa Haagen Pictet and many more. The talks will be held from 4 to 7 pm at the Yard and will converge together all these unique voices to give rise to new questions and ideologies. To take part and listen in on the engaging series of talks, you can reserve your spot by heading to the eventbrite official page.
