Youssef ElSherif’s Reaction to the Rabaa Victim Photo Backlash Is Exactly Why We Love Him
Will Ramadan’s drama ever end? Just when you thought Youssef ElSherif‘s show The Caesar is going strong and nothing can bring it down, but, something that we will not name hit the fan and ElSherif’s fans are starting a war against the haters.
A viewer claimed on Facebook last night that a photo of a dead man that was shown on the mosalsal was actually non other than a Rabaa victim. Another viewer added that the show used photos of Rabaa and Saint Catherine victims, and intentionally portrayed them as arms dealers.
First to release a statement was the series’ leading man, Youssef ElSherif, denying all accusations against his team and apologizing like a gentleman for hurting anyone’s feeling for any unintentional breach of privacy which will be investigated. The Caesar’s scriptwriter, Amr Samir Atef, also discussed his team’s integrity, ensuring viewers that it is an unintentional mistake.
To be honest, if there is one fact I learned in the past two years I’ve been working in media, it is that Youssef ElSherif and Mohamed Ramadan have the biggest fan bases in Egypt, and they are forces to be reckoned with and no social media backlash will bring them down.
Besides, this is the kind of tweets Youssef ElSherif throws our way. It’s inevitable that his fans swoon.
WE SAID THIS: Don’t miss out on People Need to Understand Mohamed Ramadan Didn’t Die in Real Life.
