I have been obsessed with this TV show for more than a decade in a very very healthy way. It’s one of the most iconic TV shows of all time, and probably one of the most influential in molding my tween/teen mind, and it’s none other than ‘Friends’. Watching the sitcom has provided me with a dose of happiness and inspiration week after week till I finish all of the ten seasons, and then I end up rewatching all of it again of course. Rachel, Chandler, Monica, Phoebe, Ross and Joey will soon be there for you, in a way like never before.
To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the show, several episodes of our beloved cast will be screened in 4K at Vox Cinemas in the UAE this month. This is the perfect way to mark the milestone of our favorite six pals. According to The National, the locations that will host the anniversary sessions are going to be at; Mall of the Emirates, City Centre Deira, City Centre Mirdif and Kempinski Mall of the Emirates in Dubai, and Yas Mall and The Galleria Mall on Al Maryah Island in Abu Dhabi. Prices are going to be the same as any normal movie ticket with seats starting from Dh36.75
The anniversary nights are going to be spread out on October 14, October 19 and October 23, with four episodes screening each day.
The screenings are not the only celebration of the Friends anniversary held here in Dubai, as the famous Central Perk Cafe set is currently on display at The Dubai Fountain with a backdrop of the Burj Khalifa, it will be there till October 16, don’t miss it!
