In Pictures: Construction on Dubai Expo 2020 is Nearly Complete and the Results Are Out-Of-This-World

In Dubai, as soon as we mention 2020 in any conversation, people would almost immediately bring up the largest and most-awaited event of the year; Dubai Expo 2020. Unfortunately, life took an unexpected turn, and the COVID-19 pandemic took place, pausing and postponing many plans and events, one of which was the Expo, now scheduled for 2021.

“One year to go until we open our gates to bring the world together for six months of inspiration, entertainment and unforgettable experiences. Join us from 1 October 2021 to 31 March 2022”. This was how Expo 2020 Dubai decided to hype up those in Dubai, and those coming to Dubai, and keep them on the edge of their seats for an event that will definitely be worth their wait.

From thematic districts to a mind-blowing dome, the setup has taken over 210 million work hours so far and is finally nearing completion. We were thrilled to see the latest pictures revealing the inside and outside of the Expo, set to host more than 190 countries.
