You Could Get Fined in Abu Dhabi for Having a Dirty Car

With the UAE’s over the top hot weather and a whole lot of construction, it has almost become routine for citizens to wash up with a cool shower after a long day. We mean who wouldn’t after a long day under the scorching sun, and with temperatures reaching over 45 degrees?! Indeed, with the city’s constant sand and dust storms, officials expect the same care for the city’s cars.

In recent months, authorities have become more and more strict with laws banning the driving of “unsightly” cars.

 

An official from the stated that “dirty cars are an eye sore to the public and can pose risks to others if wind picks up the dust and blows it on other cars or on people,” The National reports.

 

 

WE SAID THIS: With fines reaching Dhs 3,000 for dirty cars, we think it’s definitely cheaper to just get your car washed.
