Apple hosted its annual product introduction event on Wednesday, Sept. 7. New AirPods Pro, three new Apple Watch models, and four new iPhone 14 models, all of which will be sold in the UAE—were all unveiled during the 2022 event according to Daily Mail. The brand-new iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus are expected to have cutting-edge safety features, a smart design, and significant camera enhancements. The new iPhones, which come in midnight, blue, starlight, purple, and red, promise enhanced camera functionality, lightning-fast performance, and power efficiency with A15 Bionic.

Additionally, Apple said that the iPhone 14 Pro would have a longer battery life than earlier models, lasting all day. It will also come with the recently disclosed capabilities included in the base model of the iPhone 14, such as Crash Detection, which alerts the device if you’ve been in a car accident, and Emergency SOS via satellite, a satellite-based method for communication in cellular and Wi-Fi dead zones. Moreover, Apple stated on its website that once the iPhone is connected to a satellite, it automatically sends a message, your location, medical ID, and the amount of battery left on your device to the nearest emergency dispatcher.  

The iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus will be available for pre-order starting on Sept. 9th. The iPhone 14 will be more widely available on Sept. 16th, while the iPhone 14 Plus will hit stores on Oct. 7th.

The price of the iPhone 14 Pro in the UAE starts at Dhs 4,299, while the price of the iPhone 14 Pro Max is Dhs 4,699. To get a better deal on your future iPhone, you can trade in your previous or current model. You might save up to Dhs3,650 depending on the model and state of the phone.
