Forever is Now: First of its Kind Art Exhibition to Showcase at the Great Pyramids of Giza

No matter how many years go by, you can never stop falling in love with the Great Pyramids of Giza. These wondrous pyramids will be serving as the backdrop for an exhibition that will highlight ancient Egypt’s continuous influence on artists. ‘Forever is Now’ will be the first art show of its kind, and will be held at the 4,500-year-old UNESCO World Heritage Site, from October 2021 to November 2021.

Supported by the Egyptian Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, and Egypt’s national commission for UNESCO, the exhibition will showcase the work of contemporary Egyptian and international artists, around the Giza plateau. The Giza Project at Harvard University has also been supporting the exhibition and looking forward to it.

While the former Egyptian antiquities minister, Zahi Hawass, will advise on the route of the exhibition, Nadine Abdel Ghaffar, founder of Art D’Egypte, is currently in the process of selecting the artists, along with Simon Watson, an independent consultant, and curator.
