For the First Time, Mohamed Hadid is Being Vocal About His Royal Palestinian Roots

Before all the glitz and the glam, there was once a modest family who was very proud of its Palestinian roots, living on a farm in Santa Barbara. We’ve all heard about the gorgeous top-models Gigi and Bella Hadid, but how much do we really know of their father, Mohamed?

Mohamed Hadid is the son of migrant parents who moved from Palestine to the United States when he was only 18 months old to become today’s successful multi-millionaire real estate mogul who managed to build his way up from nothing.

People have always been curious to know more about the Hadid’s Palestinian roots, their original home town and their ancestors. Yesterday was Mother’s Day, and Mohamed Hadid decided to share glimpses from his Palestinian side, a picture of his late mother. He explained that his mother is in fact a descendant of Daher Al Omar, the Prince of Nazareth and Sheikh of Galilee. His caption read, “You would never know that she was royalty as her great grandfather was the Prince of Nazareth – King of Galilee in the 18th century Daher Al-Omer The Ruler that build Modern Palestine and all religions lived in peace under his Rule.”

WE SAID THIS: What do you think of the Hadids?
