Although it has been around for at least two decades, the rap scene in the Arab world has been steadily growing bigger than ever in the past couple of years. Although the scene in the region is mostly dominated by men, a lot of women are out there killing it, with a solid fan base and brilliant discography. If you’re into rap music then here are some female rappers from the Arab world that you need to add to your playlist.


Lebanese singer, Malikah, is the Undisputed Queen of Arab Hip-hop. She started rapping more than 17 years ago and led a career full of successful milestones. She performed at Glastonbury and opened for Snoop Dogg in Abu Dhabi back in 2011.


Felukah is one of the most promising Arab rappers in the scene right now. She’s been around for quite a while now, but she still has so much to offer. Her most recent track, The Daughter, was wild and we’re super excited to see where her music career will take her.

N1yah is a Dubai-based rapper that has been around for six years, but recently took her game to the next level! She’s super talented and her songs are always interesting.
