Egyptian- female-led Brand Carina Enforces the Importance of Self-love and Development on its Latest Series of Wellness Retreats
Since 1996, Carina has been supporting women. With its rich heritage and mission to empower women, the female-driven brand hosted its Wellness Camp for women which took place on the Red Sea. In light of Miss Basket‘s competition, eight lucky female winners got the chance to attend Carina’s Wellness Camp, where all women are celebrated!
The four-day Red Sea wellness camp was solely dedicated to taking care of women’s bodies, as well as their minds. The all-girls camp included the founder of Miss Basket herself, Nada Elashmouny, and the yogi and meditation teacher, Noor.
In addition to attending the wellness camp, the winners, Noor and Elashmouny received Carina loungewear, which they got to wear during their adventures. Moreover, they received beauty products from the essential oil company, Areej Aromatherapy: such as hand creams, rosewater, smoke-away sprays, and air fresheners. It serves as a way to keep the girls pampered and uplifted!
The Wellness Camp
The women have spent their days together engaging and pushing each other to learn and better themselves. Furthermore, the program included desert hiking, spa treatment, games, movies, musical performances, a visit to the Mahmya island, and lots and lots of meditation! Through mindful meditation with Noor, the body and soul work together to achieve self-awareness and self-love.
Carina takes the time to care for women’s health, gathering women to empower each other, day and night. With a Girls’ night out, females can take a break from their responsibilities and focus on themselves only. With self-reflection, there’s room for development and to try and reach their potential.
