The city of Dubai is always full of lights and festivities, and this week it’s for a good reason! Dubai is celebrating Diwali from the 27th till the 31st of October with extravagant festivities. Diwali is one of the most popular Hindu festivals, and it celebrates the spiritual victory of light over darkness, good over evil, and knowledge over ignorance.

Dubai hosts a week-long line-up of extravagant festivities, shopping, and events. During this week, Dubai will be taken over by a symphony of bright lights and live entertainment. Check out the video below to see how Dubai kicked off the celebrations.

This year, grand fireworks will take place and will light up the sky at Festival Bay in Dubai. Visitors should head there early to secure a spot or to make an unforgettable evening out of it. Head to Palm Jumeirah (26 October, 9 pm) and Al Seef by the Creek (27 October, 8:30 pm). Visitors could also enjoy a meal at any nearby restaurant such as Mitra – an Indian fusion bistro at the Heritage Zone of Al Seef, or Peppermill at Dubai Festival City Mall that presents prime waterfront views.”

Nevertheless, visitors can look forward to a mesmerizing display that combines synchronized fountains, laser projections, and an awe-inspiring soundtrack. Running daily at 7 pm from 24 October to 29 November.

You can also visit Bollywood Parks Dubai with your friends and family for a day full of entertainment to join the festivities. Visitors can make the most of 16 thrilling rides and attractions, delicious street food and live performances spread across five immersive zones.

WE SAID THIS: Great showcase of tolerance and acceptance in the city of Dubai!
