Despite The UK Government’s Pro-Israel Stance, Millions Of Protestors Show Up For Gaza Protest

Millions of pro-Palestinian protesters took to the streets of London despite the UK’s lack of support for Palestine.

Just last week, the UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak implied that the pro-Palestinian rallies that took place across the country were a ‘call for Jihad’ against the Jewish community and claimed them to be ‘anti-Semitic’.

Although the UK government is in support of Israel it does not represent the vast majority of citizens in the UK who hold a pro-Palestinian stance.

He had met with Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu in Tel Aviv to show his support for Israel.

“I’m here to express my solidarity with the Israeli people. You have suffered an unspeakable, horrific act of terrorism and I want you to know that the United Kingdom and I stand with you,” he said when he arrived.

Despite this, many citizens flooded the streets of London, Belfast, Cardiff, and Birmingham demanding the freedom of Palestine from Israeli war crimes, genocide, and years of occupation.
