With a rainy weekend approaching, and since we know “having fun in the rain” isn’t really an option in Cairo, we came up with a list of activities that you can do at home to enjoy yourself, whether you’re with friends, or family, or even alone.
Snuggle up with a good book
We all have a book that we’ve been struggling to finish for months, so fix yourself a cup of hot chocolate, curl up in bed, and enjoy the read!
Bake
Baking being only for experts is a real misconception! Whether you’re into cooking or not, the pleasure of baking is unmatched. Even the mess that comes out of it will be fun, we assure you!
Watch Netflix
What’s better than chilling on your favorite sofa or your comfy bed, having some snacks, and watching one of the many promising new shows and movies on Netflix; for something extra-special and regionally-grown, try the Saudi-made short film series, Six Windows in the Desert.
Break the boredom with board games
If you aren’t into series and movie marathons, gather your siblings, friends, or even parents, and make your own kind of marathon; a board game marathon. We recommend Jenga, Scrabble, Monopoly, and cards of course. For some added nostalgia, why not break out the notebooks and play Autobees Complet!
