Daboosi

So I’m known to surf the internet better than Mick Fanning surfs the waters, and I really look into things online.

Creativity is key when it comes to building an online venture, but this, this is definitely a first on that scale. I came across this website in arabic called Daboosi (“My Pin” in Arabic) and oh where did I see that before?

I was in complete shock when I saw this site, it is literally a copy of Pinterest in arabic and different logo. Same styles, colors (only switched the red to blue),  layout, even navigation bars.

I love the tech skills behind the copying, because Pinterest is a very nicely done website but that was a low blow. There is nothing wrong with copying styles but this is complete theft in my eyes.

You see a lot of similar websites but nothing really exactly mimics other. I would have given my graces to these guys if they had actually approached Pinterest and spoke with them about doing their Arabic platform, then I would have had full on respect to them. 

WE SAID THIS: We don’t know how Pinterest would feel when they see this but, we wouldn’t be too impressed.
