Biggest Cyber Attack Hits Internet

Were you facing Internet problems yesterday?

Well other than the fact that in some Arab countries, the Internet is whack, there was a problem, worldwide!

Internet users around the globe were facing slowed down service thanks to what’s being called the biggest cyberattack in history.

I can tell you all the technical stuff of what happened but you wont get it. Hell, sometimes I dont get it. But basically what went down is a group that was targeting a European spam-fighting project (The Spamhaus Project) that has gone after a data storage company (CyberBunker) that offers to host any content “except child porn and anything related to terrorism.”

So in the spirit of revenge, denial-of-service attacks that led to mass junk mails being sent out of CyberBunker managed to slow down the internet services on the globe.

We’ve become so dependant on the internet that if it goes out we’re on an itch and our day has been turned around. And I’m not just talking aobut normal internet I’m about high-speed, download a movie within an hour interenet!
