Weep for the Miss Piggy you once knew, for we have a diva who is going to be president one day. Our beloved, jeweled, weaved and happily-widowed puppet premiered her highly anticipated new television show last night.

There has been a buzz for weeks speculating how naughty and inappropriate the show Abla Fahita Live Men El Duplex would be and we got nothing but sass.

Many viewers have already commented that it had a Bassem Youssef El-Bernameg vibe and even the glamorous doll herself admitted that she had taken over his time slot and theater. At times, it felt that the premiere was a benign copy of El-Bernameg, but we can’t complain, we terribly miss Bassem Youssef and we need some fun on TV. We don’t want to judge from just one episode, so we’ll be waiting excitedly for the rest!
