Amr Diab Takes over Marassi with Huawei in Vodafone’s ‘Red Concert’
In a fruitful partnership, Huawei and Vodafone teamed up to throw Amr Diab’s annual concert in Sahel, celebrating his new album, ‘A7la w A7la’, at Marassi’s crystal shore on Friday the 19th.
We attended the ‘Red Concert’ side-by-side with a rainbow of influencers such as Ahmed Hossam, Norhan Abu Bakr, Marwa Hassan and Emma Abdelaziz. The Hadaba’s heavenly voice echoed, flirting with the heavenly breeze, as he sang to us pieces from his new album, but of course, let’s not forget the oldies. He gave our stomachs butterflies as he injected us with a much-needed nostalgia.
As the main sponsor, Huawei had a booth at the concert where the audience would be able to take a picture with the P9 and get the picture printed to keep. Moreover, they had a competition asking the audience to take pictures using #P9Moments to win the new Huawei P9 Dual Leica Camera. We died of envy when we saw the winners pick up their new devices after the concert.
