A Saudi Real-Estate Magnate Bids $2.6m To Watch Epic Ronaldo-Messi Match
Saudi businessman, Mushref Al-Ghamdi, has spent over $2.6 million on a ticket to watch Cristiano Ronaldo go head-to-head with Lionel Messi in today’s highly anticipated match between the two soccer legends. Dubbed the “Beyond Imagination” ticket, its winner gets to not only attend the opening ceremony but also watch the match next to the GEA chairman as well as get the chance to meet Ronaldo, Messi and some of the other players like Neymar Jr.
The entire auction was a way to promote today’s friendly match with the proceeds being donated to the national charity campaign, Ehsan. The upcoming match will mark the first time that Ronaldo plays football in the Kingdom since signing a contract with Al-Nassr that will run until 2025 and is worth more than 200 million euros.
