The 17th Edition of Marrakech International Film Festival Pays Hommage To Robert De Niro
This year the culturally rich and beautiful city of Marrakech will host one of the legendary American Actors in the history of cinema, Robert De Niro. The Oscar Winner and the brilliant Actor, best known for “The Godfather” trilogy will be celebrated at the 17th edition of Marrakech International Film Festival in November as a tribute to his prodigious career
This year’s festival will be held from the 20th of November to the 8th of December. The Actor, Director, and Producer had a number of collabs with the greatest filmmakers in the world such as Martin Scorsese, Francis Ford Coppola, Brian de Palma, Elia Kazan, Sergio Leone, Bernardo Bertolucci, Michael Cimino, Michael Mann, and Quentin Tarantino.
The official website for the festival released a statement, confirming his presence at the 17th edition, quoted as saying: “I am very grateful for this invitation, and I look forward to participating in this great festival.”
