McDonald’s Puts a Smile on More Than 4,500 Kids’ Faces Around Egypt
As far as we can remember, McDonald’s has always played a major role in spreading happiness. They’ve always managed to put a smile on our faces ever since we were little kids, and they haven’t changed since. However, Ronald Mcdonald’s love isn’t limited to the birthday boys and girls, there will always be some love for those missing it too. Since the organization is known for maintaining corporate social responsibility, it was no surprise when we found out what they recently did.
McDonald’s took part in Orphans Day by throwing over 100 parties in all its branches all over the country. More than 4,500 orphans enjoyed the interactive shows, the fun activities, and of course, the famous happy meals! This generous move is nothing but another attempt for McDonald’s to give back to the community in which it operates. The organization is well-known for things of that sort; after all, this wasn’t their first time to celebrate Orphans Day. In fact, McDonald’s has always done charitable acts, especially acts that involve
children; this includes the development of areas such as Ezbet Khair Allah. Through these projects, the organization succeeded in developing 20 nurseries and 10 elementary schools serving this area because McDonald’s believes that every child has the right to receive proper education after all.
However, this is not the end of it. McDonald’s didn’t just show initiative through educational projects, they were also interested to tackle other issues that concern children such as sports and health. One of their recent projects was participating in World Autism Awareness Day, which was held under the patronage of the Minister of Education.
