What used to be a month for holiness and spirituality, has slowly throughout the years turned into a time for TV and hilarious internet reactions to anything that comes in the way of Egyptians. For decades, we’ve been calling ourselves the funniest and wittiest people alive, and this Ramadan was just another opportunity for everyone to bring out their inner joker to social media.
Here are some insignificant moments of Ramadan that we just couldn’t leave alone because we live for a good laugh:

People saw the beard coming
but could do nothing to stop it
And when Refa3y died, believe it or not, grown men shared photos of themselves crying
And when his brother, Nasser, proved to be innocent, men hugged
And when he walked, memes happened
Three young men who stole Egypt’s heart and sparked controversy…The Dandoo boys
They’ve become so famous that Egyptian comedian, Akram Hosny, had to take a photo with one of them
But as usual we couldn’t leave things alone
How is it even possible than a human noticed this? We love it
And of course Vodafone refused to be the butt of the joke and handled the Sherine lyrics riddle like a champ
But people refused to give Vodafone a chance, they took things one step further
Oh yeah, and a shark appeared in Ain Sokhna and a conspiracy theory immediately happened
And to make things more epic because it is Ramadan after all, we were told where exactly the sharks will be waiting
but not to worry, we’ll only be bitten
Amidst all the drama, Thanweya Amma students are still cracking jokes
Engineers and scientist are trying to solve the mystery. Is this guy Photoshopped or has this actually happened to a student?
We don’t understand why this made news, but we are assuming Katakeet are difficult to transport
