Gouna Film Festival Teams Up With Variety To Host A Private Event in Cannes

The biggest event and red carpet moments from 2017 were hands down from The Gouna Film Festival (GFF). The first edition kicked off last year and was packed with Middle Eastern, Arab and international celebrities. Even Egyptian Megastar, Adel Imam, made a rare appearance and gave an iconic hilarious speech.

Founded by Egyptian tycoon and billionaire, Naguib Sawiris, Actress and Producer, Bushra Rozza, Event Organizer, Amr Mansi, International Event Organizer and CEO of I-Events at the forefront and Producer, Kamal Zadeh, the second edition is just around the corner.

We’ve all been closely following the Cannes Film Festival 2018 live coverage and we couldn’t help but wonder what the founders of the GFF were all doing there. Well, it seems that they were simply planning to take things one step further and organize a reception in Cannes. Yes, you read that right!

As if the team couldn’t impress us any further, a collaboration with Variety magazine has just been announced on Instagram.

WE SAID THIS: We hope more light is shed on the region’s classiest event because we definitely want to see more international celebrities in 2018.
