B-Boy Clash From Egypt Flies In The Air

Who doesn’t love B-Boys? They spin, flip, uprock, downrock, drop, footwork, stab, chair freeze and G-kick, always hyping up the crowds with their acrobatic cool moves. Maybe Red bull is one of the very few worldwide that adopts such an art and encourages its continuation. The ‘Red Bull BC One’ is one of the most challenging universal break-dancing competitions, voted as ‘Best B-Boy Event’ at the World of Dance Awards 2011.

Who’s the winner this year? Unfortunately it wasn’t Egyptian B-Boy Klash (yes I get really biased when it comes to representatives of my country) but I have to admit B-Boy Lil Zoo from Morocco earned it! Good luck next time Klash, I am sure you rocked as well.

Winner B-Boy Lil Zoo From Morocco Poses With His Trophy

Around a thousand B-Boys and fans had come out to the open air arena, set up in the iconic Moroccan style Théâtre Royal de Marrakech to cheer on the modern day gladiators of their region. It was the first time that the B-Boys from the Middle East encountered the dancers from Africa in a Red Bull BC One Qualifier.

Sixteen contestants, who eventually became friends while exploring Marakesh and its surroundings together, had to compete against each other. And 3 days ago, B-Boy Lil Zoo amazed everyone and now he got wings that will take him all the way to the World Finals in Rio de Janeiro this December.

Have a look at Lil Zoo doing his thing:

WE SAID THIS: Breakdancing is no longer one of the most exotic solo dancing styles, but now it became more of a FULL lifestyle, thanks to RedBull for their limitless wings!
