Beauty DIY To Do During Curfew

diymakeup

Now that the curfew starts at 9 PM, it’s not as frustrating as it used to be 2 hours earlier; however we still have at least 3 hours before we sleep. We all already ate everything in the refrigerator, then we tried to work it out and most of us probably failed. For all the ladies out there here are 5 Beauty DIY tips where you can invest some time and save some money. DIY is short for Do it yourself, since we already have the time on our hands; why not get some sense of personal achievement and actually create something.

  • Nail Polish

You will need (eye shadow, clear nail polish, a toothpick and a piece of paper)

Get any eye shadow that you are not using or ready to re-utilize and break it up. After the eye shadow is loose, create a little funnel with paper. Put the tip of the funnel inside the neck of the clear nail polish bottle. Pour the –now loose- eye shadow into the bottle through the funnel. Dip the tooth pick in the nail polish bottle and stir to mix the clear nail polish with the loose eye shadow.

(Tip) replace the eye shadow with a bottle of glitter –you can find in any stationary store- for a fun glittery nail polish.

  • Makeup removing wipes

You will need (2 cups of hot water, 2 spoons of facial cleanser, cotton pads, 2 spoons of olive oil, measurement cup, a spoon and an empty container)

Pour the hot water in the measurement cup adding the facial cleanser and the olive oil, then stir to create a mixture. Put the cotton pads in the empty container. Start pouring the mixture into the measuring cup over the cotton pad evenly; make sure you don’t splash them so they won’t fall apart.

  • Hair Cleanser

You will need (½ spoon of apple cider vinegar, 1 grapefruit, 1 cup of warm water, measurement cup, a spoon, shampoo and an empty spray bottle)

Squeeze the grapefruit and pour the juice in the measuring cup. Add the water and the vinegar then stir the mixture. Clean the empty spray bottle with shampoo to make sure it’s hair friendly. Pour the water, grapefruit and vinegar mixture into the –now clean- empty spray bottle. Shake well before using.

  • Lip Gloss

You will need (blusher or bronzer, Vaseline, tooth pick and empty lip butter/gloss container)

Get any blusher or bronzer that you are not using or ready to re-utilize and break it up. Fill the 2/3 empty container with Vaseline. Pour the blusher or bronzer all over the Vaseline. Stir the mixture using the toothpick.

  • Face Highlighter

You will need (Shimmery white eye shadow, 1 spoon Corn starch, ½ spoon liquid foundation, a toothpick and a little plastic container)

Get any shimmery white eye shadow that you are not using or ready to re-utilize and break it up. Put the eye shadow in the plastic container and add the cornstarch then stir with the tooth pick. Pour the liquid foundation into the mixture and stir again with the tooth pick.
