WIRED IN: Google Loon

Coming from the same Lab that brought the Google Car and Google Glass comes a much bigger project, the Google Loon!

Yes, Google is basically trying to connect the whole world to the internet using this baloon technology that was just test piloted yesterday in New Zealand for the first time.

The project has been kept a secret and it aims to provide interenet access to the world’s most remote areas. This technology is far from trivial, and these baloons use algorightm to determine there podition and where to move to, etc.

It’s currently being pilot tested with 30 baloons and a few testers in roder to refine the technology.
