Will the Official Meme of February be Shakira’s ‘Zaghareet’ During the Super Bowl 2020 Halftime Show?

One could easily argue that many of the trending memes of January were dark and sad, from memes about the third world war, to memes about the coronavirus ‘plague’. But February is starting off happy and fresh, with one of the first viral memes of the month being the bedazzling Latino-Lebanese superstar, Shakira, doing a ‘Zaghroota’ during her Super Bowl 2020 halftime show.

If you’re not an Arab and don’t have a clue what a Zaghroota is, let me enlighten you. It’s a sound that Arab women do with their mouths during weddings and celebratory occasions. The world rushed to create memes about Shakira’s ‘Zaghroota’, and we’re all here to take part in the fun!
