By Lojain El Shawaf

It has been announced that Vodafone Egypt has signed an agreement with the president of  Cairo University on October 8 to plant one million fruit trees over the course of four years calling this initiative, ”Green Project”.

The trees will not only reduce the excretion of carbon dioxide in the air, but this project will also help in the economic growth of the country since one of its aims is to provide job opportunities for fresh graduates of the Faculty Of Agriculture at Cairo University. Nevertheless, we’ll sure be witnessing enhancements within rural communities.

Students of the Faculty of Agriculture at Cairo University will be the ones planting these trees and supervising the growth which adds to the benefits of this project, as it will play a major role in the practical training for students.

WE SAID THIS: Vodafone Egypt, you’re on the right track
