Egyptian Women Salute Provocative Anti-Sexual Harassment Video

Sexual harassment has always been that one thing that women hate most about the Arab world, Egypt in particular. It is both degrading and infuriating, the initial shock that women suffer from robs them the chance to correctly deal with situation, which would be to emasculate the harasser.

Then along came a video of an Egyptian girl sharing her story with a harasser so boldly that people are stunned, yet women are saluting her for not bowing down to anyone. A Way Out is the newest Facebook page aiming to empower women and encourage them to stand for what they want.

Nora Labib seems to be the first woman to bravely share her experience at the market and she had quite the message for everyone. You would think that the foul and inappropriate language would offend viewers but it’s obvious that women have had enough with men in the streets.
