Viral Video: People With Disabilities in Egypt Speak Up About the Way They’re Treated

Let’s admit it, whenever we see a person with special needs we tend to treat them like aliens or kids. We either become extremely rude by staring and make them feel a little too self-conscious or become filled with pity and an enormous amount of empathy that we try to help them a little too much.

This video created by an amazing organization called Helm who aims to bridge the gap between the society and people with disabilities shows a series of situations gathered from every day life and explains from their perspective how our reactions make them feel.
