US-based Firm Collective Retreats To Open A Sustainable Retreat In NEOM’s Trojena
According to Arab News, US-based firm Collective Retreats has announced a new partnership with Saudi Arabia’s smart city NEOM. This partnership will entail the opening of a sustainable retreat in Trojena, which is one of the 10 distinct regions within NEOM.
The project has been given the name Collective Trojena and is scheduled to start operating at the beginning of 2026. Over 60 open-air guest rooms and meeting rooms, as well as water features, group campfires, and culinary experiences.
Collective Retreats CEO and Founder Peter Mack told Arab News, “Trojena provides the ultimate backdrop to achieve this mission in ways we never imagined. In addition to giving a global audience a new perspective on this spectacular mountain setting, we are committed to demonstrating that luxury travel should not be extractive and it’s possible to both preserve the environment and deliver extraordinary guest experiences.”
With the kingdom’s unstoppable trajectory in hosting sporting events, Trojena is set to host the 2029 Asian Winter Games. It’s also acts as touristic destination featuring a unique and innovative aesthetic, where captivating mountains coexist in harmony with modern architecture. What next, Saudi?
