Uber Dubai Is Being Uber Kareem This Ramadan
For many of us, Ramadan is all about the food: breaking our fast with friends and family, the outrageous desserts (red velvet konafa, anyone?), and the overall massive amounts of food.
Not everyone, however, has the luxury of being able to put food on the table for every meal, so Uber Dubai has teamed up with Kiri to provide free meals this Sunday, ahead of Ramadan.
“In the spirit of generosity customary to the season, we tend to prepare more food than we can eat for Iftar,” the company said in a message to Dubai users. On Sunday, June 5 Uber will be “delivering food boxes for free to make it easy for you to pack an extra portion and share it with someone who may benefit from it.”
All you need to do to participate is open your Uber app between 4-9pm on Sunday and request an ‘UberKIRI,’ and an Uber driver will deliver three Ramadan food boxes for free.
WE SAID THIS: This isn’t the first time we’ve seen Uber team up for charity – remember that time Uber Cairo delivered puppies to raise money for ESMA?
