The UAE Gets Ready to Open Its First Ever Dog Park
UAE is taking a big step in favor of all the dog lovers. How’s that, you say? Well, by building the Pawesome Park, of course.
An outdoor dog park is set to to open in the UAE starting the 1st of February of 2018. Pawesome Park wants you to unleash your furry friends and let them roam freely without having to worry.
“The park’s main aim is to provide dog owners with a place where they can take their dogs to play freely and safely away from traffic and without any restrictions. It will also serve as a place where dog owners can socialize and share tips on responsible pet ownership and make new friends,” Dr. Chenjerai Sigauke, RAKAWC Manager and Head Veterinarian, told Gulf News.
The park is being built by Ras Al Khaimah’s government and it is set to be located in Al Jazeera Al Hamra at the RAK Animal Welfare Center.
It expands to 7,000 square meter area and it will allow dogs to play with each other. It will also have spaces where pet owners can interact along with dog care services.
“The park will offer off-leash areas for dogs to play and run freely, a dog walking path, a fully equipped agility park and a swimming pool,” he added.
Though fees have not yet been announced, Gulf News reports that they offer both monthly and yearly memberships, as well as day passes.
