Two Egyptian Footballers Perish in Port Said
In the wake of all the violence that has been flooding Egypt over the past couple days, two Egyptian pro Football players have been amongst the 32 that were killing the Port Said riots!
As a judge announced the death sentence for 21 people in connection to last years massacare, in which 74 fans died during a Ahly match in Port Said, violence erupted all over the city.
Mahmoud Halim Al Dizawi, who played for Port Said’s Al Marikh club, died after being shot three times, as well as Tamer Al Fahia a former Al Masry team player, was also shot dead on his way to the Marikh club.
No one knows as to why these two players were killed but due to the club’s close vicinity to a nearby prison, which was being raided on Saturday, they just may have gotten in the way of unnecessary violence.
The army was deployed on Saturday, in attempts to stop residents of Port Said from storming the prison in order to free the accused defendants in the trial.
