Travel with Your Dog: Ja Hatta Fort Hotel Introduces Pet-Friendly Cabins

According to Arabian Business, JA Hatta Fort Hotel, located in UAE’s Hajar mountains, has announced the opening of Terra Cabins with special dog-friendly cabins. Additionally, there will be an area with walking trails along with plenty of open space for pets to roam freely.

Set to debut on March 1st, the cabins will have a walk-in rain shower, minibar, wardrobe, on-demand entertainment projector and alcove seating. There will also be two types of Terra Cabins: Regular Terra Cabins and Deluxe Terra Cabins, which accommodate four to six guests. Guests will have access to the hotel’s facilities including 24-hour in-room dining services, restaurants and recreational activities.

To promote and reflect the brand’s commitment to sustainability, the cabins were completed with minimal carbon footprint and will feature slanted roofs to support future solar panels projects.

The Hatta Fort Hotel’s general manager Deborah Thomson said to The National News, “we are extremely proud of our momentum and continued commitment to follow an environmental movement that strongly aligns with the UAE’s vision for 2023, The Year of Sustainability.”

Thompson then expressed that the expansion of the resort will be in alignment with ongoing plans to develop the Hatta region which is an hour away from Dubai and presumed to be over 3000 years old.
