With the cooler months approaching, temperatures are cooling down. To make the most of the change in weather, these are the best rooftop bars and restaurants to hit up across the region:
Riyadh’s Anghami Lab
Taking over Riyadh’s entertainment scene is none other than Anghami Lab. It is currently the host of Riyadh Season’s hottest events over the past few years. They even hosted a Taylor Swift tribute night back in May. Along with the live entertainment, many heads there for it merely being a gorgeous rooftop terrace where drinks are served, and Mediterranean bites are served atop Merwas at Boulevard Riyadh City.
Dubai’s Attiko
Back in early summer, we got to see W—Dubai Mina Seyahi, the adults-only hotel, find a home at the Dubai Marina. The new hotel also introduced us to Attiko, the rooftop bar found high up on the 31st floor. The bar boasts floor-to-ceiling windows, giving you gorgeous views of the city below. There is also a spacious al fresco space overlooking the sea.
At Attiko, you get to enjoy the view as well as the delicious Asian bar bites. Trust us, you’d want to try out their food as Attiko nabbed Time Out Dubai’s Best Bar Food award in 2023.
Cairo’s Sachi Park St.
We all already know that Cairo’s Sachi has been a staple of the city’s fine dining scene for more than a decade now. With it making noise with several branches across the city, they also decided to head west and open up all the way to Park St.
There, everyone can enjoy its upscale Mediterranean fusion menu, which includes specialities such as sushi, sashimi, steaks, and cocktails. You can also dine at its open-air rooftop and enjoy the alfresco environment alongside its first-class dining experience.
Morocco’s MK Rooftop Marrakech
Sitting in the heart of the Medina is hotel MAISON MK, and luckily, it boasts a rooftop restaurant known as MK Rooftop. It is the ultimate way to enjoy Marrakech from above. The spacious multi-level rooftop is home to stylish dining tables, comfy lounge sofas, and a cool bar, all overlooking panoramic views of the city.
Along with the view, diners can enjoy everything from tapas to gourmet dishes with French, Moroccan and Mediterranean influences along with their refreshing cocktail menu.
Qatar’s Tropicana 360
This rooftop is not for the faint hearted as it sits on the 48th floor of Dusit Hotel & Suites. Known as Tropicana 360, it is a modern and chic lounge that features a cosy and stylish indoor lounge, and a spacious outdoor terrace.
While dining and surrounded by panoramic 360° views over Doha, you can also indulge in a specially crafted menu that focuses on hearty pub classics.
