Summer Time

Skin Cancer is the most common cancer, especially for young people that’s why it’s extremely important to protect ourselves from UV radiation. Here are the seven golden rules to follow to avoid skin cancer:-
1. Take extra precautions or avoid outdoor activities when UV ray is strongest (10 AM to 4 AM) and always seek shade
2. Slop on sunscreen frequently 30 minutes before going outside use SPF 15 (30 or more for better protection) reapply every two hours or after swimming or sweating.
3. Slip on sun protective clothing, skip the white T-Shirt a thin shirt gives little protection from the sun rays
4. Slap on a wide brimmed hat that protects your face, neck, and ears. Keep in mind that baseball caps and some sun visors protect only parts of your skin.
5. Slap on wrap around UV protective sunglasses
6. Avoid tan beds
