Stolen Artifact From Karnak Temple Returned To Egyptian Embassy In London
A stolen artifact from the Karnak Temple in Luxor has been handed over to the Egyptian Embassy in London, according to a press release from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The British authorities have ensured the safe delivery of the Limestone artifact to the Egyptian embassy, and according to a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs also praised the UK authorities for their cooperation and their concerns about preserving Egyptian heritage.
Egypt has been witnessing a lot of thefts when it comes to its artifacts but a lot of countries worldwide has been working on returning these artifacts to its rightful owner.
