Rest In Peace Cory Montheith
Cory Monteith, better known as Finn Hudson in the Fox hit “Glee,” was found dead in a Vancouver hotel room Saturday at the young age of 31. Vancouver police said the cause of death was not apparent, but an official autopsy will be conducted on Monday. Staff members at the Fairmont Pacific Rim Hotel found the young actors body after missing his checkout time.
Monteith was dating co-star Lea Michelle (also known as Rachel from “Glee”) and there are currently no remarks given by her but other members from the Glee cast have commented on the horrible tragedy. Dot-Marie Jones, who plays the football coach on the show, tweeted: “I have no words! My heart is broken. Cory was not only a hell of a friend, he was one amazing man that I will hold close to my heart forever.”
“I am blessed to have worked with him and love him so much! My heart is with his family and our whole Glee family! I love you all!”
In recent months, Monteith spent time in rehab attempting to get over his struggle with drug abuse as he had mentioned several times. The actor had also mentioned that he had started using drugs at the age of 13, therefore there have been many suggestions that an overdose could possibly be the reason for his death.
Cory Monteith was involved in many different productions, some still in the post-production stage and it is evident that we have lost a truly bright, talented actor who in our eyes, will always be admired. Many fans will miss Monteith dearly and we will morn for his loss just as many around the world will be doing today.
Rest in peace Cory Montheith.
