Renowned British Radio Host and DJ, Gavin Ford, Found Dead in Lebanon
Gavin Ford, popular British Radio Host and DJ in Lebanon, was found dead at his home in the town of Beit Meri, east of the capital Beirut. Ford used to host a very popular breakfast show at the Lebanese station Radio One which he joined in 1995. According to the BBC, his colleagues reportedly alerted the authorities after they were unable to contact him when he failed to show up to work.
Sky News stated that Ford was strangled and was found handcuffed, while marks on his body suggested he had been hit by a sharp object. Neither the police nor Ford’s station, Lebanon’s Radio One, commented on the reason for his death, but security services are not ruling out a criminal investigation, according to the country’s national news agency.
