Ramez Galal’s Show Leads to Real-Life Cruelty: Kids Mimic Animal Abuse Seen on Show

Lions, bears, gorillas, Komodo dragons, bulls, snakes, dogs, and even ostriches — all appeared on Ramez Galal’s annual Ramadan prank show.

Why is this a problem, though? Beyond sedating and mistreating most of these animals, including throwing a snake from the 40th floor of a building, today, because of the show, there’s a new trend of little kids copying Ramez, dragging and choking a dog from his collar.

The kids are copying his show with enthusiasm. In the video, you’ll hear Ramez’s theme music playing in the background as several kids dressed in galabiyas pull and drag a puppy aggressively by the collar. This video is a hard watch for many, as you can hear the puppy squealing in pain.

Seeing the trend come to life on social media platforms has gotten many people talking, with many describing it as plain animal abuse. They’re calling out to animal rights organizations to address the ongoing abuse of animals, both on Ramez’s show and through the videos circulating of the kids.

Seeing such treatment on the screen means that action needs to be taken to end the ongoing abuse.
