Prince Charles Just Arrived to Abu Dhabi, Here’s Why
Charles, Prince of Wales, is set to arrive in Abu Dhabi Sunday during his week-long tour of the Gulf that began Friday in the Sultanate of Oman.
Prince Charles, along with his wife Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, will begin their trip in Abu Dhabi today with a visit to the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque to meet with the Minister of State for Tolerance, Her Excellency Sheikha Lubna Al Qasimi and other members of religious communities, in a bid to promote religious tolerance, according to a press release from the royal residence Clarence House.
The royal visit to UAE also includes excursions to the Bu Tinah UNESCO site, Dubai and Sharjah where the Duchess of Cornwall will visit the Dubai Foundation for Women and Children, for victims of domestic violence, child abuse and human trafficking to highlight their exemplary work in this area, the press statement said.
WE SAID THIS: The couple are also taking part in a series of cultural events in Oman and are scheduled to see Sultan Qaboos bin Said.
