As part of the Arab Cinema Center (ACC) plan of organizing series of festivals around the globe to promote the Arab culture and heritage, the ACC launched “Mad 3araby” festival, Arabic for “Arab Flow”. It’s scheduled to take place in the Czech capital of Prague, on the 31st of October to the 4th of November 2018.
Through international film festivals and events, the ACC initiatives aim to promote the Arab cinema especially in countries that lack Arab film representation in its movie theatres. “Knowing the strong potential niche in the Czech Republic for this type of exquisite cinematography, Prague will be the perfect launching point for the first edition of this unique festival of Arab cinema,” the Festival’s Managing Director, Kaveh Daneshmand, said.
Moreover, the ACC launched an Arab Cinema Guide in English on its official website. Through which they enable local filmmakers to reach international markets. Besides, it offers a variety of tools for filmmakers inside and outside the Arab region.
