People of Determination: 6 Arabs Who Prove Impossible is Nothing

The 3rd of December marks the International Day of Persons With Disabilities which promotes the rights and well-being of persons with disabilities, or people of determination. The day raises awareness around the political, economic, social, and cultural aspects of living with a disability around the world.

Many organizations observe the day with fundraisers and inclusive competitions. To participate in the day, one can look for opportunities to be more inclusive of persons with disabilities, donate to an organization that supports people of determination, teach your children to treat those who are different with kindness and respect, and a business owner can offer discounts to people with disabilities, as well as their families and caregivers.
