The Egyptian youth are making us proud with their achievements lately and this is one of their latest achievements. Six young Egyptians were among 200 Africans to be selected in the inaugural class of a program run by the Obama Foundation aimed at bringing together young leaders from across Africa.
The one-year leadership development and civic engagement program aim to train, support, and bring together emerging African leaders to take on the biggest challenges facing their communities. The program runs from July 14 until July 18 in Johannesburg, South Africa. The program’s official website said, “Hailing from 44 countries across the continent, these emerging leaders bring a wide range of skills and experiences to share with one another and the rest of the world.”
Among the six Egyptians selected is Egyptian Streets co-founder and Breadfast founder Mostafa Amin, who was recently selected among the Forbes 30 Under 30 in Europe and the Middle East. The other five Egyptians in attendance are Hossam Eldeen Abdelfatah, Yara Al-Braidy, Sara Gabr, Mohamed Shaheen and Alia Soliman. The six young Egyptians who were selected are all successful entrepreneurs who have high potential and leadership skills.
