Celebrities can motivate us, inspire us and most importantly tend to influence us, and the entertainment industry strives on building relationship between the audience and the celebrities.

Here’s a list of celebrities that have been able to inspire us this year.

Sherif Madkour

Discussing any topic that includes Sherif Madkour could raise some controversies, as he’s viewed as your not so ordinary TV host. Enduring a lot of criticism and backlash, Sherif had recently announced that he was diagnosed with Colon Tumor which made people more sympathetic towards him. He immediately gained support, which gave him the strength to be able to inspire and become a role model for people who are going through the same situation.

Dina El Sherbiny

Dina El Sherbiny has proven to be one of the strongest, most confident celebrities in Egypt. She has received a lot of crtiticism and cyberbullying but she had a greater comeback planned with her hit Ramadan series ”Zay-El Shams”.

Elissa

We were all saddened when we heard the unfortunate news of Elisa’s retirement. A couple of months ago, the queen of sensation, Elissa, announced that she was diagnosed with breast cancer. Celebrities and fans didn’t spare the moment and showered Elissa with love. It later influenced her to release her hit song ”Ela Kol Ele Beyhebouny”. She’s definitely a fighter and she should be recognized as an inspiration.

Hend Sabry

The phenomenal actress becomes the first Arab woman to join the judging panel at Venice Film Festival, a great achievement that adds ton of inspiration to the women of the Middle-East. Sabry is definitely on the right track. 

Mona Zaki

Mona Zaki took a break from the acting scene for a while to become UNICEF Egypt Ambassador, she has shown great love for Egypt’s kids and made sure to protect them by stressing on the importance of Vitamin A for them. She chose to contribute her fame for a good cause.

Ahmed Helmy

After 3 years of absence and a series of mishaps regarding his movies, the star came back with a good plot and a well-executed film ”Khayal Maata”. He did not let his stardom fade away into thin air, he instead became an inspiration to many individuals to never give up.

Yasmine Sabry

Yasmine sabry is basically the first Egyptian actress who took to her Instagram to promote a better,  healthy lifestyle. She portrays her fitness workouts on her social media platforms which, can motivate and encourage her followers to adopt a healthier lifestyle.

Tamer Hosny

Tamer Hosny is a singer, songwriter, actor, director and composer. He’s on this list because he didn’t let all these titles get to him, his humbleness made him the crowd’s favorite. Tamer became a role model to the extent that whenever any celebrity shows some arrogance, they’re immediately asked to get off their high horse and to start acting more like Tamer Hosny.

Mena Massoud

The first Egyptian/Canadian actor to be starred in a Disney movie ”Aladdin”. This movie broke records, and Mena Massoud conveyed dancing skills among other outstanding performances.
