Meet the Arab Designers on the LVMH Prize 2025 Semi-Final List
The 2025 LVMH Prize semi-finalists have been announced, and trailblazing Middle Eastern designers are turning heads.
Hailing from Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, and Egypt, Arab designers on the list will get to showcase their latest collections on March 5 and 6 in Paris. Without a doubt, they are set to redefine fashion norms and make their mark on the global stage.
First, What Is the LVMH?
The LVMH Prize is a prestigious global fashion competition created by the merging of Moët Hennessy and Louis Vuitton. It draws over 2,300 applicants from around the world. This year, 20 emerging brands from around the world made it to the semi-finals, competing for three awards, with prizes ranging from €10,000 to €400,000 plus mentorship.
Now, let’s have a look at the designers and their labels.
Yasmin Mansour – Yasmin Mansour
Egypt
Yasmin Mansour’s Qatar-based brand ‘Yasmin Mansour’ has been serving luxury womenswear with an Arab twist since 2014. Winning the Fashion Trust Arabia Prize in 2024 put her on the map.
That said, her edgy, sculptural designs are what set her apart. Think upcycled materials, a unique fabric layering technique, as well as ultra-feminine details. She smoothly brings sustainability into high fashion.
Fashion icons like Farida Khelfa, along with Natalia Vodianova, have rocked her looks.
And a Paris Couture Week dinner was even held in the designer’s name, celebrating her impeccable work. The event brought together industry giants like Giambattista Valli and Gaia Repossi, solidifying Yasmin’s status as a rising force in fashion.
Ahmed and Razan Hassan – KML
Saudi Arabia
The siblings Ahmed and Razan Hassan founded KML for menswear in 2022. They are all about blending historical fashion vibes with a sleek, modern twist. Their sharp tailoring and minimalist designs have caught the eye of many. One perfect example is the celebrity stylist Law Roach, who donned KML at Elie Saab’s “1001 Seasons” showcase in Riyadh.

Cynthia Merhej – Renaissance Renaissance
Lebanon
Beirut-based designer Cynthia Merhej is the genius behind Renaissance Renaissance, a brand that reimagines femininity with a fresh perspective. As a matter of fact, this isn’t Cynthia’s first LVMH Prize rodeo. She was also a contender in 2021.
Known for her sharp, modern silhouettes infused with nostalgic, period-inspired details, Merhej’s designs have made waves in the fashion scene. She is even the costume designer for the upcoming film adaptation of Bonjour Tristesse, starring Chloë Sevigny.

With talent this big, it’s no surprise these designers are making waves. From killer couture to next-level menswear, they’re representing the region in style.
