Instagram Turned Its Back on Twitter

Remember when Facebook bought Instagram for 1 Billion dollars? Ya well who would forget a number like that!

Well according to the New York Times, twitter had set out to buy Instagram for $525 million back in March, before Facebook had made an offer.

According to the Times, Instagram verbally agreed to sell to Twitter, then decided to “remain independent” up until they announced their Facebook aquisition.

Of course this pissed off the peeps over at Twitter! Now you know why, you can’t view Instagram pics via twitter apps, or add your twitter friends!
